Shanghai Chinese Restaurant
Just across Nagasaki Prefecture’s border, about a ten minute drive from Nagasaki’s own Hasami, lies the town of Arita. Part of Saga Prefecture, Arita is world-renowned for its beautiful hand-crafted pottery. While I appreciate Arita for its pottery (though most of it is far above my pay grade), I appreciate it even more for a little Chinese restaurant called Shanghai. While Nagasaki City boasts one of only three Chinatowns in Japan and, therefore, some great Chinese restaurants, it’s a bit far to travel for those of us in the northern parts of Nagasaki Prefecture that develop a sudden craving for delicious Chinese food. 1st Year Anniversary Party
On April 17th we would like to invite you to the celebration that was a year in the making…the NagaZasshi’s First Year Anniversary Party! To honor this historic landmark the wonderful staff at Neutral+ has invited us back to celebrate together and toast an auspicious year.
This invitation is of course open to everyone and anyone who wants to dance, drink and listen to great music with the NagaZasshi’s resident DJs, DJ Fumin (Brethren) and Momo.
The event begins at 9:00pm and ends at 3:00am or until the wheels fall off. 1500yen at the door includes a free drink! It has been a great year so let’s start the next one in grand fashion! Hope to see you all there!
